The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) is the largest association of pharmacists in the US with more than 60,000 members. APhA members encompass the voice for pharmacy through its committed leaders and staff including practicing pharmacists, pharma scientists, and pharmacist technicians & students. The APhA responds quickly and often to any issues impacting its members meeting with the FDA, the House, the Senate, and other government affairs as needed. In fact, the APhA has formed a new interest group – the Compounding Special Interest Group (SIG) – to support pharmacists’ right to compound.
