The Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) is the primary national organization for healthcare professionals and research scientists in cardiology, electrocardiophysiology, and other aspects of cardiac care. Through HRS, physicians can learn about the latest updates on the treatments of heart arrhythmias, sudden cardiac arrest, and other heart problems. The HRS provides a scientific session yearly for professionals to update their continuing education credits, prepare for certification or recertification, network with colleagues and hear the latest research findings and advancements in the field. The Heart Rhythm society also participates in public outreach efforts that help patients and the general public understand its work and the risks and treatments for heart rhythm defects.
